Econotherm Plus is our new and improved heating oil - better than standard Kerosene as it has components in it that break down the sludge in your tank into small particles which are passed through the filter and burnt off. By also avoiding deposits on boiler heat transfer surfaces it can be up to 10% more efficient - So although it is more pence per litre, over a year the improved efficiency means that you should use less oil and overall it can more than pay for itself.
It protects the metal components stopping any further degradation/rusting including if you have a steel tank. It has been used for over 4 years and proven to be very successful. Many of our customers are switching to it - as you cannot lose out - it does so much for your system and you can save money! No modifications are necessary to your tank or boiler because it still meets national standards (BS 2869 Class C2) BUT has also been improved.
