Kerosene heating oil is the most common home heating oil fuel in the UK. It is a colourless, thin mineral oil which has a density between 0.75 and 0.85 grams per cubic centimeter. It's extracted through the distillation of crude oil and typically boils off between 150°C and 275°C.
