When will my oil arrive?
As soon as you need it! You can choose the cheaper "delivery window" option when we will deliver at a time to suit our delivery drivers between today's date and a date of your choice - or you can choose a smaller delivery window if your require your oil more quickly.

What if my heating oil has not been delivered when you said it would?
The first step is to check the delivery date you requested on our confirmation email. While we always endeavour to deliver your heating oil within the timescale you requested there are occasions where this may not be possible. However, we will always try to notify you in advance if such a situation occurs. If you do have any queries, please contact us and let us know your order number so we can investigate.

What can I do if I think I may run out of oil BEFORE my delivery arrives?
Unfortunately during busy times of the year, our suppliers are often unable to reschedule their deliveries at short notice. The only way you can be sure your heating oil will be delivered sooner is to cancel your order and place a new order with an earlier delivery date. If you are unsure when you may run out of oil, we recommend you play it safe by selecting an early delivery date.

My filling access is what they call an offset pipe - i.e. my tank is located away from the access or filling point. Will you still deliver?
Unfortunately, for safety / environmental reasons, most suppliers won't deliver to offset fill locations. We recommend you make arrangements direct with a regular supplier. The same goes for premises where the hose has to be taken through the dwelling / living accommodation.

What if you don't currently delivery to my area?
Heatingoil.co.uk delivers to most areas within England and Wales. We are increasing the number of suppliers all the time to widen our access to prices and a prompt and reliable delivery service. You can still register at Heatingoil.co.uk and we will notify you as soon as we are delivering in your area.

What happens if my tank or property is difficult to access?
We have smaller four wheel delivery trucks. If you'd like us to deliver your heating oil in one of these, please check the box on the Instant Quote form.

How far can you deliver from the tank?
Most of our tankers have a 120ft (40m) hose. This is ample for most delivery scenarios.

Can you make unattended deliveries?
Providing we can gain access to the tank you don't need to be at home when we deliver your home heating oil. All our deliveries are metered and you will receive a printed reading of the precise amount dispensed, so you know exactly how much domestic heating oil we have delivered. These meters are regularly checked by Trading Standards.

What if the wrong quantity of heating oil is delivered?
If you've paid for more fuel than we've delivered, we will credit your account with the difference, based on the price you paid for your fuel. If the amount owed is less than £25 your payment card will not be refunded, however, we will keep this amount on your heatingoil account for you to use against your next order with us.

Can you deliver to an IBC or non standard tank?
Deliveries can't be made to tanks / fill points that do not meet statutory requirements and are deemed unsafe. If upon arrival the driver considers the tank unsafe / not fit for purpose the delivery will not go ahead.
